My name is Ayesha Ashfaq Hussain and I am an aspiring designer and entrepreneur. Having graduated in bachelor of Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad, India, my core career foundation is built around design. I have studied design as the main and foundational subject during my 4 year course of B.Arch.

In 2021, I was accepted as a full time founder at Edventure Park, India's first student focused incubator at Hyderabad, where I launched my first startup 'Auryn'. Auryn is a marketplace application which aims to empower the creative individuals of India to sell better online - to create a different selling experience - giving brands a more personal touch, a personalised store manager to help them with organisation and efficiency and much more.

Since working on my own project, I have developed a number of skills, from designing web pages and apps, wire framing and prototyping to launching landing pages and even editing marketing campaigns and videos. I have come to understand that although I do not have much experience, I am a quick and extremely enthusiastic learner. Currently I am pursuing another project in medspace, where we are working on a 'smart reader' technology that could potentially help diabetics by enabling continuous glucose monitoring, sending the readings to an app on their phone to help better regulate their glucose levels.

Through my entrepreneurial journey, I have grown as a designer and have realised that my passion lies in user experience design. It fascinates me how one simple change in any element of design can potentially change the complete experience of interaction of any user, whether good or bad. The study of human computer interaction excites and inspires me and pursuing it will be a huge opportunity for me to understand, learn and develop new skills to grow as a user experience designer. ​
